Was learning off from a watercolor instruction book a friend gave me. I am having trouble getting rid of the excess paper grain that shows up when the picture is scanned.

Just played a few Chapters of Ubisoft's latest instalment from the Prince of Persia series.
I feel the art direction is just such a breath of fresh air! And I totally love what they did with this reboot of the series. There are a few issues here and there, but overall, I had fun playing it. :)

Devil May Trish!

Cleared Devil May Cry 4 this time round on the Playstation 3. Went through "Devil Hunter" mode with fifteen "S" rankings and five "A" ranks. Will continue to work towards an all "S" ranking.

I don't draw that many females, so I thought giving Trish a shot would be worthwhile.

Have really been heavily influenced by works of the old masters these days, particularly Michelangelo. His works really stand the test of time. So beautifully crafted and so expressive. This drawing of a spartan warrior is very much influenced by his works.

Was feeling alittle drained these weeks, so I decided to go down to the museum to draw the Greek masterpieces. If I remember corretly, this would be my 5th time there, and I was hoping for a good session to say goodbye with (exhibiton ends next week, march 16th). Unfortunately, everybody decided to show up in numbers, especially the noisy kids. And so, I only managed to do one drawing.

Got my hands on the much anticipated Devil May Cry 4! Just two more missions before I clear the game. I must say, I really like the updated look the franchise got on the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. I really love this series.

Another trip to the Louvre Exhibit

Well, I made another trip to the Louvre Exhibit at the National Museum again today. Had a pretty good day sketching.

Aphrodite's drapes was a real challenge while I didn't have time to finish Ares, so I kind of filled in the blanks on the hair and head dress for him.

Went to the Louvre Exhibit at the museum again today. Initially thought 3 hours was plenty of time to draw, but I was wrong. Only managed to complete these 2 in that time. Definately would be going there again to do studies.

Kingdom under Fire: Leinhart

Went back to my Xbox 360 for some action-rpg fun with Blue Side's latest instalment to their Kingdom Under Fire series, Circle of Doom. Playing the Leinhart arc now. Somehow, I like this character better than the others available.

Its got really high production value, but I think the poor camera placement really stops it from being a top tier game.

Did another piece of my FF XI Online character. ^_^ I really like this game... But I managed to concentrate on drawing and not play any FF XI today. (hahaha...)

I got addicted to Final Fantasy XI online. Its my first mmorpg. Never liked playing online games, but decided to give the FF franchise a shot. I really like how the game feels like you are playing Final Fantasy. Thumbs up to Square enix for this wonderful game.

Its even got me doing fanart of my currently level 13 warrior to keep my playing time in check. ^_^

Played FIFA 08 and realised that after so many iterations, the game is still crap. It could be that I am not the most proficient in playing it, but somehow its frustrating when you are always fighting with the controls to make the game do what you want.

Anyway to celebrate me getting my Devil May Cry 3 action figure, I figured its a good time to draw everybody's favorite half-demon devil hunter. :)

The Creed of Assassins...

Gotta get this fandom outta me system. I just continued where I left off last Week in Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed. I tell you this game really grows on you. Sure the critics are saying that it gets abit repetitive, but its still a great game to play.

Visited the meusem today. They had some very nice pieces from the Louvre meusem. Incidentally, I drew this just before I went for the exhibition. If there are any art lovers reading this in Singapore, I really recommend taking a trip down to the National Meusem for this exhibiton.
